Karl Lagerfeld DVD

From Vogue Australia Forums

"Hi Voguettes,

The Vogue Australia March issue (on sale Feb 6) will include a feature-length DVD of Lagerfeld Confidential. Direct from its cinematic run in New York, London and Paris, the definitive Karl Lagerfeld documentary is exclusive to all Vogue readers.

Make sure you save the March on-sale date Feb 6 in your diary! This is one issue not to be missed!"

Sounds great, but depressing to see Vogue stooping to gimmickry for sales (ala Harper's Bazaar)...

That's a great news for Lagerfeld's fans....It's intriguing what Lagerfeld has done to the house of Chanel. Retaining the soul of the brand while giving it his own eccentric edge and energy, he has brought Chanel to a new pedestal. As far as Karl's personal style goes, he is superb-six inches collar, gloves and the glares.
Chanel accessories are a big rage in India though terribly expensive :(
PS: I prefer Vogue UK over other editions as it puts classy models. But my fav mag is L'Officiel. U can check the website www.lofficiel-india.com

Are you kidding me? At least it's not some cheap and nasty cosmetic / sunglasses / sass&bide bag/t-shirt etc etc.

I saw this documentary at the Melbourne Short Film Festival and it's a five-star backstage pass into the life of one of the most savvy, brillaint designers of our day.
